The first teaser trailer of Disney’s screen adaptation of Eoin Colfer’s sci-fi fantasy series Artemis Fowl has dropped. Based on the first novel of the series, which consists of eight novels published over the course of 11 years, the film is based on Artemis Fowl, a 12-year-old mastermind from a family of criminal geniuses.

Directed by Kenneth Branaghm.  Artemis Fowl also stars Lara McDonnell, Tamara Smart, Nonzo Anozie, with Josh Gad and Judi Dench. The film is scheduled to hit US theatres on 9 August, 2019.
