CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exam results to be available on Microsoft SMS Organiser app even in offline mode

It is that time of the year when students from across the country keep refreshing their web browsers to check for their broad exam results. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the results of Class X and Class XII in the last week of May. And while there are many ways for the students to check their results online, all of them require internet connectivity. But Microsoft has figured out a new way to deliver board results to students- one that does not require the students to be connected with the Internet at all.

This year, the company has tied up with CBSE to deliver class X and Class XII board exam results to students via its SMS Organiser app. The app is available for download on Google Play Store for all Android users. The feature comes as an extension to Microsoft’s partnership with CBSE since 2016 to display board exam results on its web browser Bing.

To get board exam results for Class X and Class XII, all the users need to do is follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Download Microsoft SMS Organizer app on your Android smartphone.

Step 2: Check for the notification from SMS Organizer to register for CBSE results.

Step 3: Click on the notification and pre-register with details such as your roll number, school code, and date of birth.

Step 4: Once the results are out, click on the notification to see your score card.

As mentioned earlier, Microsoft has been delivering Class X and Class XII board results to students on Bing since 2016. This feature will be available this year as well. On the result day, students can head out to bing.com and search for “CBSE 12th results” to get results for class 12 board exams and “CBSE X Results” to get scorecards for class X board exams. Students can get their scorecards simply by typing their roll numbers and their date of births in the window thus opened.

Besides Microsoft, Google too has partnered with CBSE to provide Class X and Class XII board exam results to students this year. The feature works in a way similar to Bing and students will be able to check their exam results by entering their roll numbers and their date of births in window opened on selecting CBSE 12 result 2018 or CBSE 10 result 2018 in the search bar.
