Change Of Perception

All of us are put on this planet for a purpose. We are a part of the big picture. But very few people discover their purpose in life. Well, most of them just exist and keep counting their days rather than making their days count.

No matter what and how difficult the situations are you need to focus on your life. And there are no shortcut keys for life. Everyone has their own beliefs and perceptions towards life. Let me first brief you about belief and perception.

Belief is a beautiful word. Belief is a feeling of acceptance. It improves our personality and builds character. That is why it is important to have a good belief system. And then there is Perception. The perception is the ability to see, hear or become aware of something through the senses. I must say this. Everyone in this world has different perceptions about life. Some take things in a positive way, whilst some always brood over things. Well that is because of the environment they are living, and also due to the negative beliefs which they have cultivated in their mindsets.

In my opinion, perception is an incredible power that you wield. But if you do not shape your perception in an empowering way, you do not encourage your growth mindset, and that may lead to some quite painful cycles. I experienced this for myself. But once in my life I realized that I could change these cycles with a simple shift in perspective, and guess what? My whole life changed.
Let me just start with a story:
The story is based on one of my student’s life. This truly shows how perceptions can completely change a situation. Even though this one seemed hopelessly painful, it worked out. You can take this story and apply these concepts to your own life, and analyze which cycles you can change with just a simple shift.

Not too long ago one of my students fell into a harmful cycle of depression and she completely lost her self. She said she had experienced this many times in her life before. And this was also triggered by a difficult breakup. She was struggling day and night. But by listening to her body and evaluating beliefs, she structured her beautiful positive life. What I meant here is she took charge of her life. But later on, I understood why this cycle existed in her life. And at the end, I helped her to overcome this difficulty.

By now you might be wondering that how I was able to help her to overcome this difficulty. Isn’t it?

Well, the formula is very simple. Basically, I just tried understanding the patterns that my students possessed every time. With the help of my knowledge and wisdom, I helped her realize that it just a state of mind and body in which certain chemical recipes mixes together. And that helped to form a beautiful garden of positive beliefs. By this you can change your mind from depressed state to the state of empowered.

The three most important things that you need to keep in your minds are:
1. Looking at a situation with a third person’s attitude.
2. Always try to focus, and work with an “I can” belief system.
3. Sometimes you may feel that the path you chose to solve the problem put you in difficulties. But trust me the hardships you faced will lead to a beautiful destination in the coming days. The knowledge you get while going this through this phase is priceless. And the problem becomes the part of your solution. It makes you the strongest person.
