From a woman who pretends she’s a horse to a man obsessed with looking like a doll: Meet the newest stars of TLC’s My Strange Addiction

 

A woman reveals her bizarre obsession with dressing up as a pony and galloping around a field in the upcoming season of My Strange Addiction.

Nicole, 31, is addicted to Pony Play, a form of role play that sees her putting on a mask, hooves and a bit and pretending she is a horse as she rolls around in hay.

She is just one of the stars who offer a glimpse into their strange and unique lifestyles in the TLC series, set to return January 1st.

Nicole’s obsession may be considered strange, but she’s by no means the only person on the show living an out-of-the-ordinary lifestyle.

The series will also follow Justin Jedlica, a 32-year-old from New York who has spent $158,000 on cosmetic surgery and calls himself ‘a living doll’.

‘The doll really exemplifies sort of the ideal male esthetic,’ he says in a trailer for the show.

Justin explains that he grew up wishing his family was as wealthy as those seen on Eighties TV show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.

He became enamored with the idea, and consequently, ‘I ended up sort of emulating what I thought a lot of those wealthy people looked like – they all had plastic surgery,’ he says.
