Uma Bharti first visited the Dera of Baba Seechewal at village Seechewal.

She appreciated the sewerage system of the village and the use of treated water for irrigation purposes. Baba Seechewal took her for a ride in the holy rivulet in a motorboat and showed her the cleanliness work of the Holy Bein near Gurdwara Ber Sahib. She said that Holy Bein cleanliness has showed her the way to clean river Ganga. Bharti claimed that the final draft for the cleanliness of Ganga river has been approved in the meeting of Cabinet secretary on May 13 this year.

Expressing deep concern over the depleting water table in Punjab and Haryana, she said Centre would prepare an action plan to recharge the ground water of both the states and other parts of the country.
