It’s finally here! The latest trailer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens has jedis, storm troopers and Han Solo

Stop whatever you are doing. It’s finally here. The wait is over for all the Star Wars fans who have been waiting patiently for months for the latest trailer. And the force strong in this one.

It opens with new protagonist Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) as she scavenges an old starship — probably the Imperial Star Destroyer seen in the first trailer. (We decoded it for you earlier) It goes on to show Finn (played John Boyega) struggling to find his place in the galaxy. And it also reveals new villain (played by Kylo Ren) promising to finish what Darth Vader started.
This trailer hits all the right spots and has almost no spoilers while offering passing glimpses of iconic characters like Han Solo, Princess Leia and R2D2 from the first two trilogies. Luke Skywalker (played by Mark Hamill) doesn’t feature at all in this trailer and the only hint of him being in the film is when a gloved hand reaches out to caress R2D2.
Tickets for the film, which releases on 18 December, have been put up for sale for select theatres in the US, but several fans complained on social media that they were unable to get them.
Tickets have already been put up for sale on eBay and in some cases sites selling tickets have crashed due to demand. (In case you couldn’t get tickets, you can take this AP quiz to check how well you really know the iconic saga while you wait to get your ticket)
For now here’s the latest trailer:
