Health Benefits of Ajwain Water


Ajwain is used in every Indian household as an essential spice. But it also has iodine, phosphorus, calcium and potassium, which have many health benefits for those who consume it daily. If you boil half a teaspoon of ajwain water in some water and drink it daily in the morning, then it has many health benefits for you.

Ajwain seed is packed with many essential minerals as well as vitamins. It also contains some protein, fat, and even carbohydrates, which is a lot to offer from spice plant seeds. The main product derived from ajwain seed is its essential oil, which the seed has 2.5% to 5% of them. The oil from ajwain seed, more commonly known as carom oil, is mostly used as germicide as well as fungicide.

Prepare ajwain water is a very simple and easy thing. In making of carom seeds water, a combination of ajwain (2 tsp) and water (200 ml) is required. Initially, roasted the ajwain on a low flame until its smell starting to come. Now, boil the water till it becomes brown colour. Mix both the components and strained it before using. It is ready now to serve people suffering from indigestion, flatulence or may be given to small children.
