London: Adventure can’t get better than this! We are talking about George Kourounis, a Canadian adenturer who ventured to go where no one ever would imagine- inside the Ambrum Volcano. This extreme feat of his has gone viral after he uploaded a video of it to YouTube last month. And not only that, he managed to take one of the coolest selfies ever as he dropped himself into the erupting volcano.
George Kourounis, currently known for his television series Angry Planet, claimed that he knocked on hell’s door as descended into the Marum crater -a boiling lava lake situated within the Ambrym volcano.
Vanuatu, officially the Republic of Vanuatu, is an Oceanian island nation located in the south Pacific Ocean.
Kourounis put on a heat suit and stepped to the edge of a lava lake, capturing the whole journey on video. It was so hot inside the volcano that his camera melted but he managed to take a selfie.
“The suit that protected me from the lava’s heat. It was destroyed by the potent acid rain on the volcano,” he wrote.
