What if dinosaurs were never extinct: The Good Dinosaur, Pixar’s second movie this year, looks stunning

It is surprising to see Pixar all ready to put out another movie just months after its critical and commercial triumph with Inside Out. But we are not complaining, the trailer for its new feature, The Good Dinosaur, looks stunning.

The official synopsis reads:

An epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend.

The movie flaunts photo-realistic animations (see 00:04, 00:19) combined with cartoon-like characters and looks all set to challenge Inside Out for the top prize at the Oscars.

Although the the film might play out with minimal dialogues, the voices will be provided by Raymond Ochoa (Arlo), Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott and Frances McDormand.

This will be the first time two Pixar feature length movies will be released in the same year since its inception in 1995 with Toy Story.
