The first explosive trailer of Hitman: Agent 47 has been released and as expected the trailer is packed with action.
The film stars Rupert Friend, Hannah Ware, Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds, and Thomas Kretschmann.
Based on the Hitman video game series, the movie is going to be all about action, wild stunts, wild driving and a whole lot of Rupert Friend.
Many are glad to see Rupert back in a major role on the big screen, after watching him play Peter Quinn on Showtime’s hit series Homeland. It’s directed by Aleksander Bach from a script by Skip Woods and Michael Finch and produced by Charles Gordon, Adrian Askarieh, Alex Young, and Skip Woods.
Fox has released the first trailer for Hitman: Agent 47, the second attempt to bring the franchise to the big screen after 2007’s Hitman with Timothy Olyphant. This version stars Rupert Friend as the titular Agent 47, a killer who’s been genetically engineered to be an unparalleled killing machine.
Hitman: Agent 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence.
The movie was shot in Singapore and Berlin, which Quinto admits added a lot to the quality of the new ‘Hitman’ experience. ‘
‘Hitman: Agent 47’ will be released in US theaters on August 28th 2015.
