f you missed the Blood Moon last night, don’t worry. The rest of the world stayed awake to capture all of the pictures you’ll ever need to see. According to Live Science, last night marked the first of four lunar eclipses that will happen over the next 18 months.
During a lunar eclipse, Earth’s shadow blocks out the Sun’s beaming rays of light, which makes the moon look… well, spooky.
The eclipse began around 2 am, and many people, including a handful of celebrities, took to their Instagram accounts to share photos of last night’s spectacle in the sky.
