Radio jockey-turned actor RJ Balaji is Lalgudi Karuppiah Gandhi, a Tamil Nadu politician, in KR Prabhu’s upcoming satire LKG. “If you make my wishes come true, I will build a statue worth 3,000 crores,” the actor prays to his god, setting the tone in the parody film’s trailer.

Directed by KR Prabhu and written by RJ Balaji, the film follows the journey of Lalgudi, who is better known as LKG, as he takes a dig at major political events in the past few years.

The film, which also stars JK Rithesh and Nanjil Sampath, has been produced by Vels Film International.
