Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan on Sunday unveiled the third teaser of his upcoming film Solo, introducing yet another character Shekhar, who signifies the element of water. This Dulquer’s character seems like a college rebel with a stammering problem. He is in love with a girl in his college, played by Sai Dhanshika, who is blind.
One of the highlights of the teaser is the chemistry between Dulquer and Sai Dhanshika, which is charming. And of course the background score is a big plus. Director Bejoy Nambiar has worked with 11 composers for this film, which has 21 songs. “There was some news that SOLO has 15 songs.That is ridiculous! How can we have so manysongs! Tamil & Malayalam put together we only have 21!,” he quipped in a tweet recently.
Solo is an anthology of movies that revolve around four elements: earth, wind, fire and water.
The filmmakers earlier released the teasers introducing Rudra and Siva, which represents the elements of earth and fire. While Rudra is full of passion, love, temperament and wave of other emotions, Siva seems to know no other language except violence. Actor Neha Sharam plays Rudra’s love interest, while Sruthi Hariharan will be seen romancing Siva.
We can soon expect to see another teaser for Dulquer’s fourth character that is based on element wind.
The Tamil-Malayalam film is bankrolled by Refex Entertainment along with Get Away Films. Solo also stars Nasser, Suhasini Maniratnam, Suresh Menon, Sujata Sehgal, Deepti Sati play important roles.
