After 11 years Mars will come closest to Earth on May 30

It’s a fact that history repeats itself and this time the epic celestial event is repeating itself after more than a decade.

On May 30, Mars will make its closest approach with Earth and the distance between both the planets will be less than 75.3 kilometers, according to Gizmodo.

This close distance will make the Red planet appear slightly bigger and brighter than the usual in the sky.

As per astronomers this unusual celestial event is visible with amateur telescope and the exact timing to watch this is 2:35 pm Pacific Time.

Mars and Earth are neighboring planets that do not follow the exact circular orbit and because of gravitational tugging the shape of their orbits constantly keep on changing. That is why scientists are more excited about this unusual event.
