A moody boss wasn’t the icing on the cake that led an officer of the Border Force from Sawston, Cambridgeshire to quit his job.

It was icing. On cakes. Much like the icing with which Chris Holmes spelled out his resignation letter on a cake this week, to the delight of social media users who shared a picture of the dessert widely.
