Storyline
“Mere Pyare” is actually a salutation used by a slum boy in his letter to the “Prime Minister”. This dramatic feature has nothing to do with politics or with the PM, it rather highlights the poor sanitation conditions in India with an emphasis on the eradication of open defecation.

Child actor Om Kanojiya is an eight-year-old film’s protagonist named Kannu. His friends’ Ringtone (played by Adarsh Bharti) and Nirala (played by Prasad) are hilarious to watch. Indian actress Anjali Patil, who is best known for films like Newton and Chakravyuh, is the only big name in the star cast of Mere Pyare Prime Minister. The actress undeniably looks stunning and natural on the silver screen while playing a mother’s role who lives in poor conditions and earns by doing stitching and embroidery.
