The teaser of Telugu superstar Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming blockbuster Yuddham Sharanam has been unveiled, and it has already got us excited. Earlier this month, on 2 July, the first look of Yuddham Sharanam was revealed.

The teaser starts with Chaitanya’s character shown enjoying with his family — mother (Revathy), father (Rao Ramesh) and Lavanya Tripathi, who plays either his girlfriend or wife. It’s evident that his family is supposed to play an essential role in the film’s narrative.

And with an actress like Revathy cast as his mother, the family aspect is bound to be substantial as well.

However, the film soon takes a turn for the dark as we see Srikanth donning a negative role with grim expressions and terrifying eyes. Chaitanya’s character seems to have a face-off with Srikanth and things have supposedly gone down a nasty path. The way Srikanth’s character revolves the ring on the table, it appears like he has wrought something terrible upon Chaitanya’s life.

The film promises to be a great watch with Srikanth portraying a negative character for the first time. And his face-off with Chaitanya will be the film’s piece de resistance. Audience will also be excited about watching Chaitanya’s transformation from his previous venture Premam, which was a romatic comedy.

Directed by debutant Krishna Marimuthu, the film is tipped to be a romantic thriller. It is being bankrolled by Sai Korrapati under the banner Varahi Chalana Chitram.
